Wesley F. Yamashita

Associate/Of Counsel

“I first got into probate law pretty quickly out of law school. As a former accounting major and then later a CPA, I found that there was a tremendous need for someone who really understood numbers and finances as people were going through the often detailed and even confusing process.

My goal is simple — to help our clients navigate the probate process as easily as possible and to ensure they are treated fairly every step of the way. It’s the approach I brought as a Clark County Probate Commissioner for 14 years, and it’s what continues to drive my passion for this area of law — helping families when they need it most.”

WHAT WES DOES WHEN HE’S NOT PRACTICING LAW

As a young man, Wes was incredibly active playing sports. When he wasn’t serving in church, you could probably find him on a basketball court or baseball diamond. While his playing days are over, he continues to be a huge sports enthusiast and enjoys watching his beloved Dodgers. As a native Nevadan who grew up in Overton, you could also say Wes is quite the Las Vegas historian, too!
